FreeSoundTools (소리공방 in Korean) is a set of tools for working with recordings and music. You can turn recordings into text and subtitles, reduce noise, cut and join audio, and tune a guitar without installing anything or signing up. The English site currently offers a selection of these tools, and more are on the way.
What we stand for
- Your file contents are never sent to a server. Processing happens inside your browser. You can check this yourself: open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to the Network tab, and watch for any request that uploads your file.
- AI models are downloaded once. The speech recognition models and runtime files used by some tools are downloaded from external servers (Hugging Face, jsDelivr) and stored in your browser. Your file isn't uploaded; the model comes down to you. See our Privacy Policy and Open-source & model notices for details.
- We tell you the limits. Automatic results can be wrong, and we describe the limits on the tool pages and in the guides.
- Free to use. Running costs are covered by ads.
