FAQ

Can it detect chords?

Yes. Polyphonic (AI) mode uses Spotify’s Basic Pitch model to find multiple notes at once, so it works for piano and guitar chords.

When should I use fast monophonic mode?

For a single melody such as singing, humming, whistling or a flute. It is quicker but can’t handle chords.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The model runs in your browser and the audio never leaves your device.

How long can the file be?

The first 2 minutes are analyzed. Split longer songs into parts.

How accurate is it?

Treat it as a draft. Overtones can appear as extra notes, and busy mixes add stray notes. Clean, solo recordings give the best results.
