What you can do
- Play with the computer keyboard: Z–M for the lower octave, Q–U for the upper octave
- Shift octaves, turn on sustain and set the volume
- Show note names as C D E or Do Re Mi
- Record what you play and listen back
- Connect a USB or Bluetooth MIDI keyboard (Chrome and Edge)
How to use
- Click or tap the keys, or use the keyboard letters printed on each key.
- Use Octave ▼ / ▲ to move the range.
- Press Record, play, then Stop recording and Play recording to listen back.

Can I play with my computer keyboard?
Yes. Z S X D C V G B H N J M play the lower octave and Q 2 W 3 E R 5 T 6 Y 7 U play the octave above.
Does it work with a MIDI keyboard?
Yes, in browsers that support the Web MIDI API, such as recent Chrome and Edge. Press Connect MIDI keyboard and allow access.
Can I record what I play?
Yes. Record, play, stop, then play it back. The recording stays in this page only.
Can I switch note names to Do Re Mi?
Yes. Use the Note names switch to choose C D E or Do Re Mi.
Why does it sound different from a real piano?
The sound is synthesized live instead of using recorded samples, which keeps the page light and fast.
